Thank you so much for sharing these insights. Regressing to childhood when indulging in baby talk rings true for me, too. I’ve had this going on in all three relationships I’ve had. It sometimes got to the point I’d worry about whether it’d be healthy or not. Neglecting the childs inside of us doesn’t mean it’s not there. They just need tending to and when feeling seen, understood, loved and appreciated, it’s much more pronounced. I’m still trying to find ways to connect to this inner part of me – it is challenging, though. Once again, I really enjoyed your thoughts on these processes. Thank you!
